Angel #1: Whispering “Wake up!”
Angel #2: still sleeping
Angel #1: louder “Come on! Wake up already!”
Angel #2: rolls over
Angel #1: louder still “Wake up wake up wake up!!!”
Angel #2: still nothing
Angel #3: enters “What’s all the fuss about?”
Angel #1: “Sleeping Beauty here won’t wake up!”
Angel #3: “No problem… stand back and see how it’s done.” Kneels down beside him and whispers “it’s Christmas morning!”
Angel #2: pops up and stretches “Good morning everyone! Merry Christmas!”
Angel #1: “I should have guessed that would do the trick. Good morning. Merry Christmas”
Angel #2: “So, what’s the plan? Big breakfast then presents? Big presents then breakfast? Either way is fine with me!”
Angel #3: “What about candles and singing? This is a birthday celebration you know.”
Angel #1: “I was thinking more of a quiet Christmas at home, nothing fancy.”
Angel #2: “Not again! When was the last time we really went out and celebrated? Let’s see, I remember talking to some shepherds…”
Angel #3: “Shepherds! We’ve really got to get out more often! The world has probably changed quite a bit since then!”
Angel #1: “That’s why I stay here. All that change bothers me. I prefer simpler times, a simpler message.”
Angel #2: “O come on! Things aren’t that different. In fact, I bet Christmas is one of the few things that do stay the same”.
Angel #3: “I’ll take that bet! How about we take a little trip and check things out for ourselves …
Angel #2: “I’m in”
Angel #1: “Me too, but I doubt I’ll like it.”

Angel #2: “Shhh… listen”
Dad: “Girls, do you like your new dolls?”
Sue: “She’s the best! but shhhhh, she needs her rest!”
Annie: “He’s wonderful! Thank you father. He is the greatest gift ever!”
Mom: “Billy! How do you like your present?”
Jerry: holding up a new sweater “It’s ok I guess”
Dad: “Your mom picked that out… real snazzy, right?”
Jerry: “Yeah, that’s what I meant, real snazzy.”
Dad: “Glad you like it son.”
Mom: “You kids certainly were good this year.”
Sue: “Thanks Mom. Do you like the present we made you?”
Mom: “It’s the most beautiful necklace in the world!”
Annie: “That’s real macaroni you know!”
Sue: “You can’t buy one like that in a store!”
Jerry: sarcastically “I wonder why?”
